Windows 8 is the simple edition of Windows for the IA-32 and x64 architectures. Documentation obtained from the ImageX tool andPaul Thurrott's book on Windows eight also refer to this edition as "Core". This edition includes characteristics aimed at the residence market segment and gives all of the standard new Windows eight attributes which includes the Begin screen with semantic zoom, live tiles, Windows Retailer, Net Explorer ten, connected standby, Microsoft account integration, the Windows desktop and far more.
